Product introduction

Brief Introduction:

The Anti-Corrosion Composite Copper Bonded Steel is an upgraded version of conventional copper bonded steel. Through a specialized manufacturing process, a highly corrosion-resistant composite alloy layer is applied over the outer surface of the copper layer.

The alloy metals are fused in ionic form, creating a dense and uniform anti-corrosion protective layer that significantly enhances corrosion resistance. This advanced structure is specifically designed to protect the copper layer and ensure long-term performance in medium to highly corrosive environments, with an expected service life exceeding 30 years.

By combining the conductivity of copper, the mechanical strength of steel, and the superior corrosion resistance of the composite alloy layer, this product provides a cost-effective and durable grounding solution for demanding applications.

Characteristics:

1. Superior Corrosion Resistance and Long Service Life

The anti-corrosion composite alloy layer is a specially engineered metallic alloy composed of multiple metals. By combining the advantageous properties of various alloying elements, it achieves corrosion resistance comparable to that of chromium-based protective materials.

The dense alloy coating effectively shields the internal copper and steel structure from corrosion, providing an expected service life of more than 30 years, particularly in medium and highly corrosive soil conditions.

2. Reliable Conductivity

The product utilizes a highly conductive copper layer as its electrical core. By fully utilizing the skin effect, it maintains electrical performance equivalent to that of traditional copper bonded steel products, ensuring safe and reliable grounding performance.

3. High Strength and Mechanical Durability

The steel core provides excellent mechanical strength and toughness, while the anti-corrosion composite layer offers high surface hardness and enhanced resistance to mechanical damage during transportation, handling, and installation.

The product is particularly suitable for mechanized construction and installation operations.

4. Cost-Effective and Environmentally Responsible

In medium and highly corrosive soil environments, conventional copper bonded steel grounding materials typically require a copper thickness of ≥ 0.6 mm to achieve the desired service life.

The Anti-Corrosion Composite Copper Bonded Steel reduces the copper layer thickness to approximately 0.25 mm while maintaining conductivity through the internal copper layer and achieving corrosion protection through the external alloy coating.

This innovative design significantly reduces copper consumption, conserves valuable resources, and lowers overall material costs without compromising performance or durability.

Applications:

Grounding systems in medium and highly corrosive soil environments.

Power transmission and distribution grounding networks.

Substations and electrical infrastructure grounding systems.

Petrochemical, mining, and industrial facilities.
